Mountain Biking Horse Riding Inland Beach A twenty minute drive from the cottage and situated near the town of Homps is a lake suited for swimming and non motorised water sports Canal du Midi The reknown Canal du Midi runs through Homps offering cruise with traditional barge, bike and boat rental. |

Places of interestWine Tasting & Restaurants There are many small market towns where you find plenty of wine caves offering wine tasting with superb labels at amazing prices. The restaurants offer delicious cuisine. Travel back in time Explore the magnificent 12th and 13th century Cathar Castles, such as Peyrepertuse, Querbus and Carcassone Castle. Situated 20 minutes from the cottage is a medieval town called Minerve. The town is an excellent place to explore. Mediterranean Sea Situated approximately one hour from the cottage, there are a number of nice beaches suchas Valras Plague, Varbonne Plague, Gruisson and Cap D' Agde. |
